The history of the Hacienda los Parrales dates back to 1987 when a group of horse riders stopped to watch the sunset from the upper plot of the current estate then called the “Manzanillos”. They all became engrossed in the moment, thinking it was impossible to find another place capable of transmitting such peace and quiet. A few days later began efforts to acquire the land to build a house on that site.
Over the following two years, twelve plots were acquired and grouped together making the the fifty-acre estate we have today. One of the acquired plots of land was called Los Parralejos referring to the existence of vineyards which during Roman times daubed the hills of El Aljarafe. Whereas today these vineyards are extinct, the name of Hacienda Los Parrales was chosen as the most representative of the area and as a tribute to our heritage.
